Mrs. Adaline Gates, who recently died in Grand Ledge, was a sister of S. K. 
Gates, of this village.  She willed her property to her nephew, a son of her 
sister, Mrs. Hyde, who lived in Grand Ledge, her sister to have the use of it 
as long as she lived.  Mr. Gates of this village, with his brother who lives 
in Pewamo, has commenced proceedings to break the will on the ground that his 
sister was unduly influenced in thus disposing of her property.
