Funeral Wednesday at First U. B. Church. Sermon by Rev. C. H. Zuse. Another one of Odessa’s fathers passed away Monday at his home west of town, Rudolph Gattner, who has lived in this vicinity for many years was a practical sturdy farmer quiet in manner and faithful in precept. He was 77 years old. His wife died last July. They were faithful members of the First U.B. church. He leaves a son Charles Gattner and four daughters, Mrs. Fred Haight, Mrs. Flora Mote, Mrs. Maggie Mote and Verdie Gattner, at home. The funeral was held at the First U. B. Church Wednesday afternoon. Rev. C. H. Zuse of Hastings, a former pastor preached.
