June 5, 1980 CLARE CHARLES GATTNER SARASOTA, FLA. - Clare Charles Gattner, 68, of 234 Freeport Dr. , Sarasota, Fla., died May 19, at Doctors Hospital. He was born in Lake Odessa and moved to the Sarasota area six years ago. He was a journeyman working with sheet Metal, also a member of the elks Lodge 1517 of Sarasota and a veteran of World War II. Surviving is his wife, Louise Gattner, of Sarasota; two sons, Jack Gattner of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Kenneth Hull of Warren, Mich.; two daughters, Mary Lou Zerbel, of St. Joseph, Mich., and Dian Calleja of Sarasota; one brother, Paul Gattner of Lake Odessa; three sisters, Frances Green of Lake Odessa, Virginia Dye of Meadow Vista, Calif., and Caroline Randall of Dearborn, Mich.; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held on May 28 at the Lew Funeral Home Chapel, with Fr. William Davis officiating. Lew Funeral home and Crematorium was in charge of arrangements.
