Shirley Gaudard, age 67, of Lake Odessa, went to be with her Lord on Thursday,
January 5, 2006.  She was born in Lansing on April 2, 1938 to Robert and Alice
(Konen) Sinke.  Shirley had been married to Neil Gaudard for 43 years.

She was a long-time active and devoted member of the St. Edward Catholic Church
in Lake Odessa and felt blessed to have served as a Sacristan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Neil Gaudard, brothers and sisters,
Robert (Beverly) Sinke of Hartland, Ronald (Sandra) Sinke of Leslie, Michael
(Janet) Sinke of St. Johns, Patrick (Rosanne) Sinke of Lake Odessa, Phillip
(Debra) Sinke of Potterville, Thomas (Tamela) Sinke of Lake Odessa, MaryEllen
(Robert) Shiffer of Potterville and Mary Sinke of Lansing; and many loving
nieces and nephews.  Shirley was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral mass was celebrated at St. Edward Church on Monday, January 9, 2006
with Father Thomas Hack as celebrant.  Burial was in Woodland Memorial Park. 
The family has suggested the memorial contributions may be made to the Ionia
Area Hospice, or St. Edward Catholic Church.  Arrangements were made by Koops
Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.
