Kenneth L. Gauld, 61, of Lyons, passed away Feb. 25, 1999, at Sparrow Hospital 
in Lansing. He was born the son of Lyman and Verda (Bonner) Gauld on April 15, 
1937, in Muskegon.

He graduated from Muskegon High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He 
was a life member of the Muskegon Motorcycle Club, a past Exalted Ruler of the 
Ionia Elks, a member of Fruitport Eagles #3666, and a member of the Gold Wing 
Road Riders Association. He was employed at GM in Lansing for 22 years.

Survivors include his wife; son; daughter; step-son; three step-daughters; 
uncle, Glade Gauld of Fife Lake; one grandson; and seven step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyman and Verda (Mabie) Gauld; step-
father, Ronald Mabie; first wife, Thea M. Gauld; two brother ______ Gauld and 
William VanderHoff; and one sister Lois Hinkle.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27 at Cook Funeral Home in 
Ionia, with Rev. Larry W. Nalett or Palo United Methodist Church Officiating. 
Interment will be in Palo Cemetery.
