Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, Oct. 23, 1947

Arthur A. Gaut, 68, of 333 Railroad street, died at the Ionia County Memorial 
hospital Thursday morning at 1:30 o'clock.

He was born October 11, 1879, in Montcalm but has lived in Ionia or the past 45 
years.

Surviving him are his wife, Ruth L.; one daughter, Jean, at home; and one 
brother, Milton, of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held from the Myers funeral home at 2 o'clock Saturday 
with the Rev. Melbourne Stadt officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park 
cemetery.
