MRS. CAROLINE GAVIT BURIED AT WOODLAND MONDAY
Mrs.Caroline Gavit, 87, died at the home of her son Sam, Rfd. 3 Portland, Friday 
night. She was born March 31, 1859 in Ohio. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Rose 
Skinner at Kalamazoo, Mrs Tillie Lordan in Grand Rapids; two sons, William, Lake 
Odessa and Sam.

Funeral services were held from the Wing & Pickens Funeral Home in Woodland, 
Monday, with burial in Woodland memorial Park.
