Funeral services for Mrs. Inez Gavit, 82, former Lake Odessa resident, will be 
Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Pickens funeral chapel with Rev. Marvin 
Zimmerman officiating and burial will be in Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa.

Mrs. Gavit died unexpectedly June 19 en route to the hospital in Clearwater, 
Fla. where she had made her home since moving there from Lake Odessa in 1955.  

Born November 28, 1885, she was the daughter of Frank and Ella Dodds Meyers of 
Lake Odessa.  May 1902 she was marired to Will Gavit who preceded her in death 
in 1960.  Although Mr. and Mrs. Gavit made their home in Florida they spent 
their summers in Lake Odessa.

She leaves one son Jesse of Grand Ledge; one daughter, Mrs. Velma Davis of 
Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
