Funeral service for Claude Allen Gay, 68, of rural Saranac, will be held at 1 
p.m. Monday at Morris funeral home.  Mr. Gay was accidentally killed Friday 
evening when he was struck by a car while assisting another motorist near his 
home.  He was born July 17, 1892 in St. Louis.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Judge and Jacob Gay; a daughter, 
Claudine; two brothers, John Gay of Wayne, and Eddy of Chicago, Ill.; and two 
sisters, Mrs. May Baldwin of Washington, and Mrs. Pearl Vinson of Spring Arbor.

The Rev. William Greve will officiate and burial will be at Saranac cemetery.
