Ionia Standard, 25 & 26 Jul 1907

The remains of Aaron Gay, a former resident of East Front street, were brought 
to Ionia Monday morning from Grand Rapids for burial in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mr. Gay died on Saturday, July 20, at the age of 80 years.  He will be 
remembered as an old resident, having made his home in this city forty-four 
years, following the occupation of a cooper.  He went to Grand Rapids about 
five years ago.  He is survived by a widow and two children, Mrs. Benj. Fuller 
and Frank Gay, the former of Belding and the latter of Detroit.

The remains of Aaron Gay, 80 years old, accompanied by widow and other friends, 
arrived from Grand Rapids Monday, and received interment at Highland Park.
