E. church for Mrs. Hortense Gaylord who died Thursday morning after several years illness, the last four of which she was helpless. The services were conducted by Rev. McGinnis, former pastor here, but now of Holten. Mrs. Gaylord was buried beside her husband, Frank Gaylord, who died in January, 1927. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Roy Dietrick and Mrs. Louis Fitzgerald, who have cared for her all these years, two grandchildren, Joan Dietrick and Robert Fitzgerald, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Mallory of Sheridan. Subsequent Article: Funeral services for Mrs. Hortense O. Gaylord, who died Thursday at her home in Palo, were held from the Palo Methodist church at 3:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon with a former pastor of the church, Rev. J. B. McGinnis, officiating. Bearers were Ray North, Irving North, Clare Wright, Fred Reimer, Ralph Safford and Harry DeHart. Interment was in the Palo cemetery. Relatives from out of two attending were Mr. and Mrs. Claude Abbott and son, Gerald, of Maple Rapids.
