Miss Marie Margaret Gazella, daughter of Mrs. Mary Gazella, passed away at the 
family home, 728 West Lincoln Avenue at 4:30 this morning after an illness of 
several months.  Up to the time of her serious illness Miss Gazella was 
employed at the Ypsilanti Reed Furniture company as a stenographer.  At the 
time of her death she was 24 years of age.  Her father died in 1910.  Besides 
her mother, Miss Gazella leaves two brothers and two sisters, all of this 
city, Stanley Gazella and Louis A. Gazella and Misses Veronica Gazella and 
Josephine Gazella.  

The funeral will be held from the residence on West Lincoln Avenue at 8:30 
Saturday morning and from the Church of SS. Peter and Paul at 9:00 o’clock.  
Burial will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

The funeral for Miss Marie Margaret Gazella was held last Saturday morning at 
9 o’clock, from the Church of SS. Peter and Paul, Rev. Fr. H. D. McCarthy 
officiated.  The office employees of the Ypsilanti Reed furniture company 
attended the service in a body.  The bearers were six girl friends who worked 
with Miss Gazella in the office of the Ypsilanti Reed Furniture Company and 
were the Misses Ruth Johnson, Geraldine Scully, Irma Whiting, Esther Sheets, 
Evelyn Culverwell and Rose Sarlo.  The floral offerings which were many and 
beautiful were in charge of Mrs. Clifford Snell and Miss Ruth Wright.  Burial 
took place in the family lot at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
