Mrs. Ethel Gazella, 52, West Riverside Drive, died Wednesday at the home of 
Mrs. A. B. Sibley, 250 East Washington Street.  Mrs. Gazella was found dead in 
bed Wednesday morning.  She had been employed as a practical nurse at the 
Sibley Home about a year.  Neil Phelps, coroner, said death was due to a heart 
attack.  She was born October, 1906 in Chicago, Ill.

She was a member of the Christian Science Society of Ionia.  Her husband, 
Stanley Gazella, preceded her in death. A Son, Arthur Steinke, died March 28, 
1938.  Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2 pm at Myers Funeral 
home.  Mrs. Louis Hoopman, reader, will officiate.  Burial will be at Balcom 
cemetery.
