The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, June 3, 1935

Frank J. Gazella, 52, died at his home, 504 Jones street, Saturday evening at 
8 o’clock following an illness of heart trouble the past three months.  He was 
born in Ionia in 1883 the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gazella and has lived 
practically all his life here and attended Ionia schools as a boy. He was 
employed for a number of years on the Pere Marquette railroad and later as a 
finisher at the Stafford-Johnson factory.  He was married to Miss Agnes 
Martin, who died in 1926.

Surviving are one son, Clarence, Ionia; one sister, Mrs. Stella McConald, 310 
Welton street; and four brothers, John Gazella, Jr., Owosso; Fred, Grand 
Rapids; Robert and Steven, Ionia.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock from SS. Peter and 
Paul church with Rev. Fr. J. V. Coyle officiating.  Interment will be at the 
family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
