James Francis Gazella Jr. passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008 in 
Tampa, Fla. at his place of employment.  Jimmy was the son of Jean Emily 
(Berger) Gazella and James Francis Gazella Sr.  He was born in Ionia on July 
8, 1955. Jimmy graduated from Carson City High School and served four years in 
the United States Air Force.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Luke Gazella of Grand Rapids; three sisters, 
Susan Gazella of Stewart, Fla., Jeannie Gazella of Zephyrhills, Fla. and 
Michelle (Bruce) Goddhardt of Carroll, Ohio and two brothers, Richard (Lisa) 
Gazella of Carson City and Gerard (Lori) Gazella of Chesterfield Twp.  Jimmy 
is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, five great-nieces and nephews, 
with one more on the way.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial Mass will be held for Jimmy at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carson 
City on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 at 11 a.m., and a luncheon will follow.
