Jean E. Gazella of Zephyrhills Fla., died on Thursday, September 22, 2005. 
Mother, sister and friend, a former Ionia resident, she was preceded in death by
her husband of 53 years James F. Gazella.  She is survived by her children
Richard and Lisa Gazella of Carson City; Susan Gazella of Stuart, Fla.; James
Gazella Jr. of DuQuoin, IL; Jeannine Gazella of Zephyrhills, Fla.; Gerard and
Lori Gazella of Chesterfield and Michelle and Bruce Gotthardt of Carroll, OH;
Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; Her sisters, Lee Miller, Doris
Miller, Carolyn Sholtens and Dixie Chapman; Brother, LD Burger.  She was a
former Bell telephone operator and matriarch of Gazella’s Finer Foods.  Her
family and friends will hold a celebration of her life at the home of Richard
and Lisa Gazella on Saturday, November 5, 2005 starting at noon.  A memorial
mass will be held at St. Mary’s in Carson City at 5 p.m.
