Ionia Standard – 3 May 1907
Mrs. Mary Ann Geck died at the home of her daughter in Grand Rapids, on Sunday 
night.  She was the widow of Anton Geck, for many years a jewelry dealer in 
Ionia, and the mother of Al. H. Geck, who succeeded his father in business, and 
died recently.  There were only two children, Albert H., and Mrs. Conklin of 
Grand Rapids, with whom deceased had made her home for many years.  Remains 
were brought here Wednesday morning, and funeral service held at SS. Peter and 
Paul’s church at 8:30.
