The Ionia Standard, Saturday, October 18, 1890
Matilda, daughter of Mrs. Anton Geck of this city, died at Grand Rapids on 
Sunday.  The funeral was attended in that city on Wednesday.  Miss Geck was 
born in this city, and lived here until about a year ago, and the announcement 
of her death was sad news to a wide circle of friends here.
