Ionia County News, 12 Nov 1925

Francis Geddie, 65, died at the home of his son, Ernest B. Geddie, Ionia, last
Thursday, following a short illness of paralysis.  For more than a quarter of a
century he had been a resident of this city, moving here from Sheridan.  He had
been in the employ of the city a number of years and at one time worked at the
Ionia Country club.  The funeral was held Sunday from the Bradley chapel with
Rev. J.H. Green in charge.  He is survived by five children, William of Lansing,
J. Geddie of Rochester, N.Y., Ernest of Ionia, Mrs. Inez Riffel and Mrs. Ethel
Reid of Detroit.

[Transcriber's Note: There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried
in Oak Hill Cemetery.]
