Gee, 65, died suddenly Monday noon at his home in Lyons. He had been in ill health for a year but death was the result of a heart attack. He was born August 10, 1877, on a farm one and one-half miles southwest of Pewamo and was the son of William and Mary Gee. He attended the Kimball and Pewamo schools. He was married to Ora L. Townsend of south and east of Lyons, December 24, 1900, in Lyons by Rev. Jewell of the Methodist church. Mr. and Mrs. Gee had always lived in and near Lyons since their marriage with the exception of six years which they spent in Alberta, Canada. The had lived in the village of Lyons several years where Mr. Gee was a partner for a time in the Lyons Ice Machine Manufacturing company and later, he was a dealer in real estate. He was a member of F.&A.M. lodge in Lyons. He is survived by his wife, Ora; five children, Mrs. John Horrocks (Bernice) of Ionia; Harold Gee of Holland; Fred C. Gee of Milwaukee, Wis.; Miss Doris Gee of Lansing, Mrs. M. E. Bader (Blanche) of New Hudson; seven grandchildren; five brothers, Hector Gee of Muir, Eric Gee of Pewamo, David H. Gee of Pontiac, Frank Gee of Alma and Dennis Gee of Lyons; two sisters, Mrs. William Rice of Nashville and Mrs. Sherman Ely of Lansing. Funeral services will be conducted from the home in Lyons on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in Lyons cemetery and graveside services will be conducted by Lyons lodge, F.&A.M. The body will repose at the Stone funeral home until Wednesday. ---------- Funeral services for Homer H. Gee 65, of Lyons were held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the home in Lyons. Rev. William Hall, pastor of the Baptist church of Lyons, officiated, and burial was in Lyons cemetery. Graveside services were conducted by Lyons lodge, F. and A.M., under the direction of S. Wilson Keefer. Musical selections were given by Mrs. George Steadman and Plyn Woodworth, accompanied by Mrs. Woodworth. Pallbearers were David H. Gee, Hector L. Gee, Dennis Gee, Eric Gee, Joseph Gee, and Howard Townsend. Those who attended the service from away were Miss Doris Gee of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. John Horrocks, Gerald and Jack and Mrs. J. A. Braman of Dildine, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gee, Mary, Margery and Richard of Holland, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gee of Milwaukee, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Bader and Susan, New Hudson; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Townsend, Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Townsend, Mrs. Howard Fletcher and Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Gee of Pontiac, Mr. and Mrs. William Erridge of Keego Harbor, Frank Townsend, sr., Frank Townsend, jr. and Claude Townsend of Muir, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Townsend of Ionia, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bissell, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Gee of Pewamo, Mrs. Sherman Ely of Lansing, Mrs. Levancha Townsend, Albert Townsend of Ionia, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Rice of Battle Creek, Mr. and Mrs. William Rice of Nashville, Mrs. J.
