Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 21 Oct 1957

Mrs. Homer Gee, 79, died Sunday evening at Lansing, where she resided since 
March of this year.  She was born in Lyons township, Ionia county, December 23, 
1877, and her parents were Alonzo and Diana Townsend.  She lived in Ionia 
county all her life with the exception of seven years when she was a 
homesteader in Alberta, Canada.  Mrs. Gee and Homer Gee were married in 1901 
and they lived in Lyons and Pewamo.  Mr. Gee died in 1943.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John D. (Bernice) Horrocks of Easton 
township; Mrs. William P. (Doris) Conser of Olympia, Wash., Mrs. Maxwell 
(Blanche) Bader of Lansing; two sons, Harold J. Gee of Holland and Fred C. Gee 
of Milwaukee, Wis.; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Stone-Kauffman 
funeral home and interment will be in Lyons cemetery.
