Francis V. Gee, 78, of Muir died October 5, 1994 at Blodgett Medical Center in
Grand Rapids.  He was born on June 4, 1916 in Pewamo to Hector and Cassie
(Townsend) Gee.  He is a graduate of Lyons High School.  He married Geraldine
(Wacha) in May 1947.  

He is a retired Standard Oil gas station owner and cider mill and apple orchard
owner and operator. He was a member of the Michigan Horticulture Society, the
Lyons/Muir Lions Club, the Lyons/Muir VFW, and the American Legion in
Hubbardston.  He was also a Boy Scouts of America leader and a former Village of
Muir clerk, president and council member.

He is survived by his wife Geraldine; one son, Dale (Debra) Gee of Holt; one
daughter, Kathy (Michael) Yuhas of Muir; one brother, Clyde Gee of Lyons; one
sister, Naomi (Clare) Sharp of Haslett; six grandchildren; and one great
grandchild.  

Visitation will be at Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir on Thursday, October 6,
between 7 and 9 p.m., and Friday, October 7, between 2 and 4 p.m. and 7 and 9
p.m.  A parish scripture service will be held on Friday, October 7 at 8 p.m. at
Hull Memorial Chapel.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8, at 11
a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ionia with Father Charles Hall
officiating.  Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Ionia.
