Ionia Sentinel Standard, 15 Oct 1984

Thomas D. Gee, 65, former Ionia County resident, died Friday evening in Kent
Community Hospital, Grand Rapids.  He was born Aug. 12, 1919, in Lyons, the son
of Dennis and Mary Moore Gee, and graduated from Ionia High School with the
Class of 1937.  He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and lived much of
his adult life in California.

Surviving are two sisters, Lola Dunn of Grand Rapids and Orpha Charles of Grand
Ledge, and several nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2p.m. from the Roetman Funeral Home, the
Rev. Charles Fry of Grand Rapids.  Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery.  The
family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
