DENNIS GEE
LYONS - Dennis Gee, 81, longtime resident of Lyons, died Friday at Ionia County
memorial hospital where he was a patient one day. He had been confined at a Belding
convalescent home.

He was born August 28, 1883 in Lyons township near, Pewamo, the son of William and
Mary Gee and was one of 13 children.

He was a retired Ypsilanti Reed employe and was sexton of Lyons cemetery 10 years.

Surviving are his wife, Ethel; four daughters, Mrs. Pauline Sweet of Ionia, Mrs.
Orpha Charles of Lansing, Mrs Lola Dunn of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Phyllis Robinson of Grand
Ledge; one son, Thomas Gee of San Diego Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Sommer of East
Lansing; two brothers, David of Birmingham and Hector of Muir.

Funeral service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir with
the Rev. Roger Wright of First Christian church of Muir officiating and interment at Muir
cemetery.
