Gee, 20, of Muir were conducted Tuesday, May 29, at 1:30 from the Presbyterian church at Muir. Dr. Paul Stewart, pastor of the church officiated. The music was in charge of Mrs. Plyn Woodworth of Muir. The Howels were taken care of by Stephen W. Kimball of Lyons, Omer Postle, Cecil Estep and Fred Zeigler of Muir. The bearers were Harry Steele of Flint, Wm. Rounds of Muir, Raymond Sprague, Lawrence Lawless, Ronald Wood of Lyons, and Clyde Rogers of Route 2 Ionia. Gee died enroute to the Ionia County Memorial hospital early Sunday morning of injuries received in an auto accident in Orleans. Two other Muir young people were in the accident. Burial was in the Muir cemetery. Friends from away were Mr. and Mrs. Max Bader, Mrs. Robert Charles, Mr. and Mrs. John Clark, Mrs. Homer Gee of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. David Gee of Pontiac, Mrs. Zella Rice, Mrs. George Bugbee, Mr. Lawrence Horn, Mrs. Ellis Bracey of Nashville, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Gee of Riverdale; Mrs. Gladys Pew, Mrs. John Diebold of Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gee, Richard Gee of Holland, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Gee and son, Clifton, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bussell, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Benjamin, Miss Ida Stiles, Mrs. Fred Stiles, Mrs. Morris Dunn, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Horrocks, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Roberts, Mrs. Lottie Wood of Ionia; Dennis Gee, Mrs. Fred J. Townsend, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Townsend, Mr. and Mrs. William Erridge, Mrs. Kyle Obery, Mrs. Fred Clark, Mrs. Albert Townsend of Lyons; Claude and Frank Townsend, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Townsend of Muir, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Lehman, Brighton, Mrs. Mark Weber of Fowler.
