The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, May 9, 1931
Funeral services for William R. Geer, who died at the home of his daughter, 
Mrs. K. R. Smith, this week, were conducted Friday afternoon by Dr. Paul L. 
Stewart.  Services were held at the home of the daughter, 229 East Washington 
Street.  Burial took place in Hastings.  

W. R. Duffy, manager of the Pantlind hotel, and Douglas Berry, of Grand 
Rapids, were among those joining the relatives for the services.  Bearers were 
K. H. Smith, Jr., C. Sophus Johnson, E. C. Mangold, Harold Cross, who were 
relatives, and Lawrence Watson and John Hogan.
