Ionia County News - Thursday, May 7, 1931

William R. Geer, father of Mrs. K. R. Smith, Jr., died at her home this morning 
after a long illness. He was a resident of Grand Rapids for Many years but 
lived in Ionia from 1896 to 1899.

Services will be held at the home, 229 E. Washington Street, Friday afternoon 
at 2:00, Rev. Paul L. Stewart officiating. Burial will take place in Hastings. 
He was 75 years old. Mrs. K. R. Smith, Jr. is the only survivor.
