Sandra D. Geiger, 62, of Ionia passed away Jan. 26, 2013 after a courageous 
battle with cancer. She was born May 14, 1950 in Belle Garden, Calif., the 
daughter of Theodore and Leona (Travor) Jewell. Sandra married Carl Geiger Aug. 
16, 2002. She had a great love of life and God. 

Sandra is survived by her loving husband Carl Geiger of Ionia; mother, Leona 
and Stan Youngman of Arizona; children Misha (Darrin) Wilbur of Saranac, and 
Jerry (Ruth Ann) Kirby of Missouri; step-children Becky (Lonnie) Spangler of 
St. Johns, Andrea Geiger and Gary Wing of Belding, Zach Merriott and Victoria 
of Dewitt, Meghan Ward of Ionia and  Carl Geiger III of Dewitt; 13 
grandchildren and one great grandson; brother Theodore (Marlis) Jewell of 
Nevada and Mark Beeson of Missouri; step brothers Dennis (Joyce) Champion of 
Watervliet, Mike Champion of Watervliet and step sister Anita Oglesbee of 
Watervliet.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at Ionia 
Bowl 3000 in Ionia. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home of Ionia. Those wishing
