George Geiger 92, Died September 27

George Geiger, 92, retired carpenter of Woodland, passed away Wednesday evening, 
Sept. 27th at the Barry County Medical Facility at Hastings. He had resided 
there for five years. He was a lifelong resident of the Woodland area and his 
parents were John and Katherine Geiger.

Mr. Geiger was a member of the Woodland Methodist church.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Nellie Beck of Laramie, Wyo. and a brother, Dr. 
Albert Geiger of San Diego, Calif.

Funeral services were held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pickens funeral 
chapel with burial in the Woodland Memorial cemetery. Rev. Lawrence Lovell 
officiated.
