Kenneth G. Geisel, 87, of Ionia passed away early Wednesday morning, Oct. 17, 
2001.

Ken was born in Woodbury on Oct. 9, 1914, to George and Bessie (Wells) Geisel.  
He attended school in Woodbury and graduated from Woodland High School.

Ken had worked for Oldsmobile in Lansing for 38 years before his retirement in 
1976.  He lived in Ionia for 60 years where he had been a member of the First 
Presbyterian Church.

Ken is survived by his children, Larry (Rhoda) Geisel of Tucson, Ariz., Shari 
Cooper of Austin, Texas, and George (Sue) Geisel of Ionia; six grandchildren; 
three great-grand-children; and his sister-in-law, Virginia Roberts of Lake 
Odessa.

Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline; and his parents.  

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday at the Koops Funeral Chapel in 
Lake Odessa.  The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday at the 
Koops Funeral Chapel.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
