GEORGE L. GEISEL
Lake Odessa-George L. Geisel, 74, 1055 Tupper Lake road died Thursday evening 
at Pennock hospital where he was admitted Sunday following a heart attack.

Mr. Geisel was born July 28, 1892 in Danby township and was the son of 
Christian and Emma Tinney Geisel.

April 2, 1913 he married Bessie Wells in Woodbury moving to Lake Odessa in 
1934.

He was a salesman for 40 years. He also was a member of Congregational church 
in Lake Odessa and served many years on boards of trustees and deacons.

Surviving are his wife, Bessie, a son, Kenneth of Ionia, three grandchildren 
and one great-grandchild; a brother John Geisel of Belding, and two sisters; 
Mrs. Reva McDaniels and Mrs. Christine Millard of Grand Ledge.

Funeral and committal services will be at Pickens funeral chapel in lake 
Odessa, Sunday at 2 p.m.. Rev Arthur Ruder of Grandville officiating with 
burial in Lakeside Cemetery.

A memorial fund is being established.
