Lake Odessa Wave, 3 Feb 1938

Lewis E. Geiser, 54, died in Blodgett Hospital at Grand Rapids, Wednesday 
evening following an illness of two or three weeks.  He is survived by the 
widow, Mrs. Florence Geiser, one daughter Mrs. Gilbert Hanson in Ionia, three 
sons Forrest and Elwood in Lansing, and Elva with the U. S. Army in Panama; 
five sisters, Mrs. John Rogers, East Lansing; Mrs. Anna Sease, Lansing; Mrs. 
Andy Brumbaugh, Mrs. Isaac M. Mote, and Mrs. Albert Lowrey, Lake Odessa, and 
four brothers, Ivy, Frank and Harry, Lake Odessa, and Andy in Ionia.

At one time some years ago he was a resident of Lake Odessa, but at the time of 
his death resided in Ionia.  He also had lived at Clarksville three or four 
years.  The funeral will be held at 2:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon from the 
Baptist church in Ionia, and burial will be made in the Clarksville cemetery.
