Harmon W. Geister, Jr., 57, of Belding, passed away Friday morning, January 16, 
2004 from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Kent County.  He was born 
May 2, 1946 in Belding, the son of Harmon Sr. and Wilma Anthony Geister.

Harmon attended Smyrna Bible Church and worked at American Seating Co. in Grand 
Rapids as a technical support programmer.  He served in the U.S. Army during 
the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany.  Harmon had played for several 
years with his golf league at work.  He was a loving husband, father and soon-
to-be grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

He was married on June 27, 1966 in El Paso, Texas, to Vicki Wood.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Harmon Geister Sr., in 2001.  He is 
survived by his wife, Vicki Geister; children, Ryan Geister and his fiancee 
Jennifer Probst of Alto, Marcy and Brent Burris of Davisburg; his expectant 
first grandchild; mother, Wilma Geister of Belding; brothers and sisters-in-
law, Tim and Ann Geister of Rochester Hills, Randy and Judy Geister of Orleans; 
and sisters-in-law and their spouses, Pam and Jim Tucker of Roscommon, Inabeth 
and Joe Male of Millington.  

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Smyrna Bible Church with Pastor Darwyn 
Hassert officiating.  Interment is in Ashley Cemetery.  Visitation is from 2 to 
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.  Memorial 
contributions may be given to Smyrna Bible Church.
