Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Dec 1977

Ionia - Henrietta B. Gellendin, 66, of 671 North Jackson died early Tuesday
morning at Ionia County Memorial hospital following an extended illness.

She was born May 24, 1911 in Ionia, the daughter of William and Bertha Zander
Gellendin.  A lifelong resident of North Jackson street, she attended St. John’s
Lutheran school and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran church.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Richard (Esther) Swartz of Greenville and two
nieces.

Services are Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Leddick funeral home with Pastor
{unreadable name} of St. John’s Lutheran church officiating.  Burial is in
Highland Park cemetery.  The family will receive friends and relatives at the
funeral home Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  A memorial fund is established
for the St. John’s Lutheran church building fund.
