Dec. 28, 1990 WESTPHALIA - Herman J. Geller, 84, died Thursday in Texas. He was born in Fowler on October 1, 1906, the son of Nicholas and Anna Fandel Geller. He owned and operated the Geller Funeral Home in Westphalia for 45 years and was a member of St. Mary's Church, the St. Joseph's Society The Knights of Columbus, and a retired member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association. He is survived by his wife, Estelle of Westphalia; one son Eugene Geller of Plano, Texas; three daughters, Beth Burns of Detroit, Ruth Pline of DeWitt and Irene Wohlfert of Fowler; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 and 8 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Chapel, Westphalia. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel with the Rev. James Novak officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nick Geller, Jim Pline, John Burns, Thomas Burns, Roger Pline, Russell Pline, Ryan Pline, Tim Wohlfert, Dale Wohlfert, Bob Wohlfert, Jerry Wohlfert and Jim Wohlfert. A memorial has been established for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association. Arrangements made by Neller Funeral Home in Portland.
