Both are of Prussian birth; came to American 47 long years ago, the last 43, as noted above, being spent continuously in this city. She was a woman of keen business intellect. The cause of death is given as apoplexy. Funeral on Thursday at 9 a.m., from the church of SS. Peter & Paul. The husband and three sons survive. The sons are Matthias, of Clinton, Iowa; Leonard P., of Ionia; Albert, of Jackson. They happen all to be in Ionia at this time.
