LEN A. GENSHEIMER
Len A. Gensheimer, 82, Portland, formerly of Harrison, died may 8, 1993 in Lansing.

He was born in Gwinn on Feb. 13, 1911, the son of John and Martha (Lienig)
Gensheimer. He was retired from General Motors where he was employed as a skilled trades
painter.

Surviving are three daughters, Cindy (Gary) Selden of Portland, Paula Matys of
Canada, and Kathleen (Larry ) Wright of Lansing; seven grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; brother, Franklin (Fritz) Gensheimer of Negaunee; and sister, Charlotte 
Strahle of Grand Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, and two brothers, Hillary and
Ellsworth.

Services were held May 12 at Gorsline-Runciman Neller Chapel in Portland, with lay 
speaker Birt Cooper officiating

Casket bearers were Gary Selden, Larry Wright, Craig Wright, Steven Wright Sr.,
Daniel Jenkins, and Michael Jenkins.

Entombment in Deepdale Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Lansing.

Memorial contributions may be made at Neller Chapel for a charity of choice.
