Marydean Gentry, 68, of Coldwater, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at Community
Health Center of Branch County.  She was born Dec. 26, 1933, in Detroit, the
daughter of Everett and Virgie Wall Rayborn.  On Dec. 20, 1959, she married
Gordon Gentry.

Marydean was a graduate of Belding High School, Belding.  She graduated from
Hinsdale School of Nursing, Hinsdale, Ill.  She later acquired a Masters Degree
from Western Michigan University.
She worked as a registered nurse at Community Health Center of Branch County and
Coldwater Regional Center.  She retired from the regional center in 1989.  She
was also a member of the Rayborn Memorial Seventy Day Adventist Church.

Marydean is survived by her husband, Gordon; Daughter and son-in-law, Anita and
Walt Griffin of Coldwater; grandchildren, Caitlin and Patrick Griffin; brother,
John and Valerie Rayborn of Belding; brother-in-law; Gerald and Joyce Gentry of
Coldwater; and a sister-in-law, Arlene and Dave Hendrickson of Tucson, Ariz.

Funeral Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Rayborn Memorial Seventh Day Adventist
Church with Pastors David Gotshall, Oscar Montes and John Scott officiating. 
Interment is in Mason Cemetery, Branch County.  Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6
to 8 p.m. Sunday at Gillespie Funeral Home, Coldwater.  Memorials may be made to
Community Health Center of Branch County Home Health and Hospice Services.
