LAKE ODESSA-  Emil L. George, 74, died on June 16 at General Hospital in Sault 
Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada.

Mrs. George was born on April 16, 1906 in Ottumwa, Ia. He retired from General 
Motors in 1967.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Whaneva) Rairigh of Rocky Point, 
Pickford, Mich., three brothers, Albert George of Arizona, Walter George of 
Pensacola, Fla., and Henry George of New Hampshire; one sister, Laura Durffee of 
Missouri; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. 

The funeral was held on June 20 at the Quinnell Funeral Home in Pickford, with 
the Rev. George Murray officiating.

Burial was in North Raber Cemetery.
