Ionia County News - Thursday, 10 May 1923
Funeral obsequies for George L. Dalzell, formerly a prominent farmer of North 
Plains Township, will be held from the North Plains church at two o’clock this 
afternoon.  Interment will be made in the North Plains cemetery.  Mr. Dalzell, 
who for the past five or six years has made his home in the village of Muir, 
died very suddenly Monday evening while seated at the dining table, death 
being due to heart trouble, from which he has suffered for some time previous 
to his death.  He was 65 years of age and owned the farm in North Plains 
Township upon which he first saw the light of day.  He leaves two daughters, 
Miss Mildred Dalzell, of Muir, and Mrs. Alice Miller of Detroit.  Fred Dalzell 
of this city is a nephew.
