She was married to Henry J. Gerlinger, December 15, 1886. Two children,, one son Waldo, and one daughter Lula, were born to this union. At the youthful age of twelve years she became conscious of sin and the need of salvation and she was gloriously saved at the time under th labors of Rev. Snatz and united with the Evangelical church of which she remained a true and faithful member unto death. She loved the church of her choice and did everything possible to further God's cause and kingdom. Thus, a life of Christian services extending over sixty-one years has come to a close. The deceased was a great sufferer for the last year, her disease being the after effects of the flu, but she was patient and very hopeful to the last saying that she would trust the Lord in all. She leaves to mourn her departure, a son Waldo J. Gerlinger of Sunfield, and a daughter Mrs. Luta M. Winkler at home; four grandchildren, one brother Fred A Erkardt, and four sisters, Katie A. Eckardt, Mrs. Mary Kunz, Rose Eckardt and Mrs. S. C. Schuler, and many other relatives and friends. Additional Comments: CARD OF THANKS We wish to extend our appreciation to the relatives, neighbors and friends who have shown so many kindnesses our mother during her recent illness and to those who have helped in any way during our bereavement.
