Lake Odessa Times - Thursday August 8, 1907

HENRY GERLINGER

Henry Gerlinger was born in Kleinbundenbach, Reihn, Bayren, Germany, April 25th 
1845 and died in Woodland township, Barry Co, Michigan, August 2nd, 1907, aged 
62 years, 3 months and 8 days. In 1865 he came to this country and was married 
to Elizabeth Rheam, March 30th, 1972. He was converted to God in the winter of 
1888 and united with the Evangelical Association in which he proved a faithful 
member until his death.

He leaves to mourn his departure a sorrowing wife, three sons, two daughters, 
three grandchildren, three brothers and one sister. Father, Mother and one 
brother preceded him in death.The funeral was held from the Evangelical church 
of Woodland, Aug. 5 in the presence of a large number of neighbors and friends. 
Services were conducted by the presiding elder, F.C. Berger, of Flint, and W.F. 
Bulgrin. The text was Job 38:14
