The Ionia County News - Thursday, July 17, 1958

Mrs. Margaret L. Gerow, 65, of Belding, died Tuesday, June 24, at Elkhart, 
Indiana. She had been in ill health for two years.

Born February 22, 1893 at Pewamo, she was the daughter of Jacob and Carrie 
(Cumming) Lepley. She had been a resident of Belding for eight years. On 
September 5, 1920, she married William M. Gerow in Grand Rapids. He preceded 
her in death February, 1957.

Surviving are seven sisters, Mrs. Orville (Mary) Howe of Elkhart, Indiana; Mrs. 
Cody (Mable) Cooley, Mrs. Cecil (Joyce) Rhoades, and Mrs. Jacob (Hattie) 
Soepboer all of Grand Rapids; Mrs. Walter (Hazel) Mullemnix of Kent City; Mrs. 
Ben (Anna) Knoper of Cassnovia and Mrs. Lawrence (Ida) Burgess of Greenville, 
and three brothers, Robert of Greenville, Roy ad Albert of Pensacola, Florida. 

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 28, at the Huffman Funeral Home with 
the Rev. Luther Brokaw officiating. Interment was in River Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lyle Bush, Guy Lake, William Smith, James Smith, Foster Gill 
and Glen Gleason.
