           Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

                  Harold M."Nick" Geisen

Died Friday October 16, 1987-age 79 of Belding.
Born July 20, 1908 at Belding, the son of Nicholas A.& Bertha A. (Martin) Geison 
Jr.
Dick was employed then manager of The Herald Publishing Company, in Belding, 
beginning in 1924. In 1961 he purchased the business & renamed it Belding 
Printing Company. He retired in 1974.
A member of the St.Joseph Catholic Church & Belding Sportsman Club.
Survived by his wife, Ellewyn; four daughters, Mrs.James (Carol) Smith, Belding, 
Nancy Kleiner, McComb, Ill., Mrs.Howard (Gayle) Christensen, & Mrs.Jack (Mary) 
Skivington, Greenville.
Also five sisters, Mrs.James (Leona)TenEyck, Rockford, Mrs.James (Helen) 
Robinson, Demoines, Iowa, & Mrs.Harold (Florence) Badger, Mrs Frank (Mary) 
Quillen, & Mrs.Jack (Pauline) Stout, all of Belding; two brothers,Joseph of 
Munster, Ind. & John of Belding; 10 grandchildren & a great-grandson.
Funeral services are 11:30 a.m. Monday at St.Mary's Catholic Church,Miriam.
Rev. Fr. John officiating.
Interment is at St.Joseph Cemetery.
A wake service is 7:30 Sunday at Huffman Funeral Home, Belding. Deacon Howard 
Scheid officiating.
Visitation at the funeral 7-9 p.m. today and Sunday.
