Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Aug 1982

Minnie L. Getts, 90, of Lafayette St., Ionia, died Thursday morning at Ionia
County Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Crystal Township, Montcalm County,
September 1_?, 1891, to Moses and Cora (Lefferts) Gambee.

She married Emmett Getts on March 9, 1916.  They lived on a farm near Mud Lake,
in Montcalm County.  They moved to Ionia in 1931.  She had lived on Lafayette
Street since 1944.

Her husband preceded her in death May 30, 1964.  She was also preceded in death
by an infant daughter.  Surviving are nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Leddick Funeral Home in Ionia,
with Rev. Eldon Schram of Zion United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will
be in Crystal Cemetery in Crystal, Michigan.  The family will be at the funeral
home Friday from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. to receive visitors.
