The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, April 4, 1969


Estella M. Getts, 61, of 533 West Main died Friday at Ionia County Memorial 
hospital where she had been a patient the past 10 days.  Born February 3, 1908 
in Isabella county, she was the daughter of Fred and Dora Perry.  April 19, 
1925 she was married to Laurence Getts.  For many years she operated the 
Estelle’s Beauty shops.

Surviving are her husband, Laurence; brother, Alton Perry of Ionia; one 
sister, Mrs. Milow Hart of Laingsburg.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Stone-Kauffman funeral home.  
Interment will be at Balcom cemetery.
