The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 12, 1963


Mrs. Mabel T. Gibbons, 91, died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Harold Buck, 219 Smith street, Portland.  Mrs. Gibbons formerly lived at 
Charlotte and had resided with her daughter 13 years.

She was a life member of Charlotte Chapter Order of Eastern Star, past matron 
of the organization and a member of Past Matron club of Portland. 

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Harold Buck; two grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Neller funeral home in 
Portland.  The Rev. James Eddleston will officiate and burial will be at Maple 
Hill cemetery at Charlotte.

Bearers will be Leo Lehman, Dale Faux, Laben Smith, Kaye Hargie, Ralph Benedict 
and Harold Kloko.
