Portland Observer, 8 Jan 1918

Mrs. S. A. Gibbs died at the home of her daughter in Huntingdon, Pa., Christmas 
morning, according to advices received in Portland last week.  She was the 
widow of Samuel A. Gibbs, whom she married in 1884, his death occurring in 
1915.  During this time she resided on the farm in Orange and later in this 
village, where Mr. Gibbs died.  A little later she went to Huntingdon, where 
she has since resided with her daughter.
