Ionia Standard – Friday, 31 January 1896
WEST SEBEWA – Jan. 29 – Mrs. Marion Gibbs died at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Columbus Sandborn, in Sebewa, Jan. 25, 1896.  Deceased was born in 
Delaware in 1821, but has lived in Sebewa for over 40 year.  The surviving 
children are Norman and Byron Gibbs, Mrs. F. N. Burhans and Mrs. Columbus 
Sandborn of Sebewa;  Geo. R. Gibbs of Carson City and Mrs. E. H. Hemming, of 
Omaha, Neb.
