Greenville Independent-July 3, 1890

Mrs. Anna Gibbs died at 5 o'clock in the afternoon of Sunday, during the storm of
that hour. 

She was nearly at the close of her 85th year which would have been next Saturday.
She was the mother of Geo. B. Gibbs, C.N. Gibbs and Mrs. James Taylor. The Funeral was
Wednesday morning at the resident of C.N. Gibbs which has been her home. The burial was made
at Otisco.
